So, I recently came upon a wonderful sounding Readathon in which you, dear reader, are able to pick out what books I, dear blogger, read. What better readathon for a notorious hater of decision-making (I’m working on it, okay?!)??

This readathon is hosted by Val at The Innocent Smiley and Ely at Tea and Titles. It will run from July 9th to July 16. Need more info? Your wish is my command (this time)!

Look at the books you own, either physical, e-book or ones you’ve borrowed from the library and pick out a few you really want to read, or feel like you should read. It’s up to you how many you pick, personally I’d pick a few more than you expect to be able to read in a week. Example: if you think you’ll only read two, pick out five books or if you think you can read seven, pick out ten.
Make a list of these books on your blog, or make a video, or a Goodreads shelf or post a picture on Instagram—whatever is easiest for you. Then get friends, other bloggers/booktubers etc. to vote on which books you HAVE to read.
When the readathon comes along, you read the books in the order of most votes. For example, if one book gets 10 votes—you read that first, then the one that got 7 and so on. If there’s a tie, then it’s your preference. The goal is to read as many as possible.
Alright, so there are quite a few books that I’ve been DYING to read and have of course already spent my money on, yet I haven’t gotten around to. FOR SHAME. BUT, that’s where you come in. So, without further ado, I present to you your choices for this endeavor.

What book should I read for the “Make Me Read It Readathon”?

The Star-Touched Queen by Rouhani Chokshi
Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
The Dark Days Club by Alison Goodman
Rook by Sharon Cameron
The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

    1. I’ve heard nothing but PHENOMENAL things about The Wrath and the Dawn. I bought it immediately but didn’t read it *shakes head*. BUT it’s tied for most votes so maybe, just maybe I’ll finally get around to it! I’m glad you liked Rook. I feel like it flew under the radar but I’ve heard really good things from those that have read it. Thanks for stopping by and I’ll definitely stop by and vote!

    1. So far, it looks like I’ll be reading it! I’m SO excited because I’ve heard nothing but good things about it. Can’t believe I didn’t read it ASAP, but hopefully this will get me around to reading it. Thanks for stopping by and voting!

    1. Oh, YAY! Well, hopefully you get to read it! It sounds PHENOMENAL! I hope you enjoy your books too! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  1. Oooh I ALSO have Cruel Beauty and I need to read it at some point! But anyways, I ended up voting for both The Wrath and the Dawn and The Star Touched Queen (even though I have yet to read it!)

Thank you so much for joining! I can’t wait to see what books are picked!
